Tottenham Hotspur fans don’t want to see Leicester City star James Maddison at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after he was linked with the club.
According to The Express, the club sees the Englishman as a potential replacement for the potentially outgoing Christian Eriksen.
According to the publication, the attacker ‘passed his audition’ to potentially replace the Dane after his performance against the club last Saturday.
The £40.5m-rated (per Transfermarkt) Maddison scored the winner as the Foxes beat Mauricio Pochettino’s men 2-1 at the King Power Stadium (via BBC), taking his tally to two goals for the season.
The Denmark international has less than a year to run on his contract at the north London giants and is free to start negotiating with clubs from January.
Despite his strong performance against the club, it seems fans want the Lilywhites to steer clear of signing the England youth international as they took to Twitter to respond.
