Jose Mourinho organised a small training session with a handful of his Tottenham Hotspur players on Tuesday, as reported by Evening Standard journalist Dan Kilpatrick.
According to Kilpatrick, the Portuguese held a 1-on-1 session with Tanguy Ndombele on Hadley Common in Barnet, whilst Ryan Sessegnon and Davinson Sanchez were jogging together but separately to the session. However, a photograph has since emerged of all four together (Ricky Sacks).
Mourinho’s actions go against government guidelines to stay at home, with the world currently in the middle of a pandemic which has forced football, amongst many other things, to shut down.
The ex-Chelsea boss has since accepted that it wasn’t in-line with the government’s advice and claimed that it is ‘vital’ that we all now follow the protocols to protect the NHS and save lives (Dan Kilpatrick).
Many Spurs fans were extremely unimpressed with Mourinho for organising the session, with many taking to Twitter to slam him. Here is what some had to say…
