Tottenham Hotspur fans were going crazy after Dele Alli’s sublime winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.
With Serge Aurier having crossed the ball from the right-hand side, the England international managed to lob it over the head of ‘keeper Matt Ryan.
His goal continued a return to form for the midfielder as he notched up his fifth goal in eight games under the management of Jose Mourinho (via LastWordOnSpurs).
Prior to the Portuguese manager’s arrival at the club, Alli had scored and assisted just two goals under Mauricio Pochettino (via Transfermarkt).
Mourinho lauded the player for his performance as he claimed the man, signed for just £5m, was ‘absolutely incredible’ (via BBC).
Fans couldn’t believe their eyes as they took to Twitter to react with astonishment at the effort from the player, who has been given a new lease of life.
