Tottenham Hotspur: Fans go crazy over Max Aarons’ latest comments

Tottenham transfer target Max Aarons has revealed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is his favourite football ground.

Last month Football Insider announced Spurs have identified Aarons as their top priority to fill the problem on the right flank and are lining up a move for the Norwich City defender in the summer.

Speaking during a fan Q&A on his official Instagram, shared by @sacramentoszn via @RisingBallers_, the youngster admitted the Lilywhites’ arena is one of the best venues he’s played at.

Aarons answered: “the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – that was crazy in there! You look at it and you can just feel how good it is, how well it’s been built and that is a great stadium as well as Old Trafford.”

The Canaries academy graduate has been one of the few bright sparks in a difficult campaign for Daniel Farke’s side, making 1.3 tackles per game, completing just under 1 interception, and registering 1.8 clearances on average in the Premier League (WhoScored). His current market value is priced at £18m via Transfermarkt.

Jose Mourinho is in the hunt for a new right-back, as it is fair to say the North London club have struggled to fill the void left by Kieran Trippier, and Serge Aurier has largely failed to live up to expectations so far.

Naturally, many Spurs fans went crazy over Aarons’ latest comments on social media, with one supporter tweeting he is a “great fit” and “checks so many boxes.”
