Ajax have told Hakim Ziyech that he can leave the club in the January transfer window if his valuation is met, that is according to a report from Calciomercato.
Would Ziyech suit Jose Mourinho's Tottenham?
Yes
No
The Dutch outfit are thought to want £43 million for the Moroccan international, who is a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur as well as Arsenal according to the Daily Mirror.
Ziyech was part of the Ajax side that reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in the 2018/19 season and he has performed well for them during the current campaign.
Indeed, he has scored eight goals and provided 21 assists in all competitions this season and he memorably tormented Chelsea at Stamford Bridge with a hat-trick of assists back in November (Transfermarkt).
If Spurs did bring in the 26-year-old then there is no doubt that he would be a popular addition amongst some of the club’s fanbase, many of whom have taken to Twitter to urge them to get a deal done.
Here is what some had to say…
Get it done

Would be an ideal replacement for eriksen. Could maybe offer them Vertonghen to get the price down

Absolute no-brainer

If this evaluation is correct then we’d be silly to pass up on this that sort of money in today’s market is next to none, the squad needs improving and the time is now! #COYS
