Tottenham Hotspur have been pressing to sign Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo for a number of months, according to @leggoit via @TranSPURS.
The Italian outlet claims Tottenham and Premier League rivals Manchester United are eager to land Zaniolo, and both clubs have been working on making a move for the wonderkid in the summer.
However, Leggo went on to add the midfielder is not looking to leave Roma in the upcoming transfer window, but he is open to new opportunities.

The Giallorossi are reluctant to lose the Italian international, although it is expected they will be forced to sell if the club receives a substantial offer.
After arriving at the Stadio Olimpico from the Inter Milan academy for £4m in 2018, the 20-year-old has made 18 appearances in the Serie A this season, scoring 4 goals, creating 1 assist, taking 1.9 shots per game, averaging 1 key pass, and making 2.4 dribbles on average (via WhoScored).
Zaniolo is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects and his versatility at the top of the pitch could prove vital for Jose Mourinho’s side.
