Midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will reportedly miss Tottenham Hotspur’s UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Wednesday due to a groin injury, as Football.London report he was not fit for training on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old joined Spurs from Lyon in the summer for a club record fee of £53.8 million (BBC Sport), but he is yet to make much of an impact in north London.

Injuries have certainly hampered him so far. Indeed, he missed Premier League games against Newcastle United and Arsenal earlier in the campaign with a hamstring injury (Transfermarkt).
He was then withdrawn at half-time against Sheffield United with a groin injury (Independent), which also kept him out against West Ham, while a further groin problem saw him miss their most recent clash against Burnley.
It looks as though it will also keep him out of their trip to Bayern Munich and, if it does, it will mean that he has managed to play just 101 minutes in six games under Mourinho (Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Spurs fans have been questioning why the 22-year-old seems to be consistently unavailable, with some comparing him to the injury prone Erik Lamela and former player Darren Anderton.
Here is what some said about Ndombele on Twitter after seeing he would miss the Bayern game…
Waste of money, was a reason we got him ahead of Real, City etc
