Tottenham are preparing to make a bid for Real Betis striker Loren Moron in the summer, via Estadio Deportivo per @RickSpur.
According to the Spanish outlet, Spurs are lining up a move for Moron and the club intend to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the start of next season.
Jose Mourinho and the backroom staff have been keeping tabs on the forward who has put in a string of impressive shifts for the Green and Whites this campaign.

After initially linking up with Betis B from Marbella FC as a free agent, the 26-year-old broke into the Big Greens’ ranks in January 2018, and it is fair to say he hasn’t looked back since. The Spaniard has scored 9 goals in 26 appearances in La Liga for Rubi’s side this season, picking up 2 assists, and taking 1.6 shots per game via WhoScored.
Mourinho is keen to reduce the pressure placed on the shoulders of England international Harry Kane and the head coach has been assessing Moron ahead of a potential transfer. However, the report adds Daniel Levy faces stiff competition from Serie A giants Napoli.
Football journalist Ricky Sacks posted the update on Twitter, writing “Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to make a bid this summer for Real Betis striker Loren Moròn. Spurs head coach Josè Mourinho and the club’s coaching staff have been assessing the forward ahead of a potential transfer ahead of the start to next season.”

However, many Spurs fans slammed the club’s link to the Real Betis star, with one supporter lamenting “from Osimhen to this,” (referencing another transfer target Victor Osimhen) and another adding he is a “complete moron.”
