Tottenham Hotspur’s miserable run of form continued on Wednesday as they were beaten on penalties by Norwich City in the FA Cup fifth round.
It means that Jose Mourinho’s side are now winless in their last four matches, having lost to RB Leipzig, Chelsea and Wolves prior to the shootout defeat against the Canaries (Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Spurs players are struggling for form at the moment, one of which is Dele Alli who endured a difficult evening in north London. The England international failed to make any sort of impact on the game, he took no shots at goal, both of his attempted dribbles were unsuccessful, he won just four of his attempted 13 ground duels and lost possession 21 times (SofaScore).
Loads of Tottenham fans were unhappy with Alli’s display. Many of them took to Twitter to slam the 23-year-old, with one even suggesting that the club should “sell him.”
