Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have slammed ‘done’ Hugo Lloris after a stat emerged on the Twitter page of Last Word on Spurs.
A post from the page stated that Lloris had conceded 11 goals in the Champions League whilst only making 9 saves (note: this was posted after RB Leipzig’s second goal, they went on to score another as the game finished 3-0).
The club-captain did not enjoy the best of nights as he parried in efforts from Austrian attacker Marcel Sabitzer in the first half which arguably put the tie to bed before half-time. Leipzig eventually won the game 3-0 and won the tie 4-0 on aggregate after their 1-0 win at The Tottenham Hotspur stadium, courtesy of a Timo Werner penalty.
Many Spurs fans slammed the French international on Twitter, with one fan saying that Lloris is ‘done’ and another even claiming that the goalkeeper ‘needs to retire’. These were some of the most passionate responses:

Is that a World Cup winning keeper and captain? Should go for Gazzinga from united game. At least he has bigger physique and bigger hands than a 9month baby. If he’s dropped then the plastic fans and media will start the agenda again
