Many Tottenham Hotspur fans are split following news relayed by Daily Hotspur on Twitter that Davinson Sanchez has returned to training.
The Colombian international missed the north London club’s latest game, a 3-0 away loss to RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Champions League last-16 (Transfermarkt), but will be hoping to return to the starting line-up as soon as possible under Jose Mourinho.
Spurs play Manchester United in the Premier League at the weekend in what will be Mourinho’s first home game against his former side since the Portuguese left the Red Devils last season.
Sanchez has made 32 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this term (via Transfermarkt) and he will be hoping to add to his tally by getting back to full fitness following his return to training.
These Spurs supporters were split over the injury report, with the fanbase seemingly divided on whether or not Sanchez’s likely return is a good or a bad thing. One fan didn’t seem too overjoyed that he is back in training, claiming that his ‘decision making is awful’ whilst another proclaimed ‘thank God’ as they are a ‘shambles’ without him:
Davinson Sanchez returned to training with #thfc today.
