Speaking to Football Insider, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has tipped Danny Rose to move on after he appeared for the Under-23s on Friday – claiming he will ‘get a club’ due to the fact he is a ‘tremendous’ player.
Jose Mourinho, who omitted Rose from his Premier League and Europa League squads, seems to prefer fellow left-back options Ben Davies, Sergio Reguilon and even youngster Dennis Cirkin over the Englishman after a bust up behind the scenes.

The 29-cap international hasn’t made a single appearance for the senior side this campaign, playing some competitive action on Friday for the youngsters in a bid to retain fitness.
Agbonlahor tips Rose to leave
Following his performance, pundit Agbonlahor has tipped the Spurs star to find a new club whilst lauding a ‘tremendous’ player.
“He’s 100% Premier League quality, he’s a great player,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“I think sometimes we’ve seen it with Jose with many teams he’s managed, when he goes into a club he has to pick a couple of players that he has to throw out and make an example of.
“It looks like Dele Alli and Danny Rose are the ones that he’s picked on this time.
“Danny Rose has had a tremendous career, multiple England caps, he’s been a great left-back for England and Spurs.
“He will get a club that wants to snap him up. So many players get through these tough times and come back stronger.”
Transfer Tavern take
Described as ‘unbelievable‘ by teammate Eric Dier, with Newcastle boss Steve Bruce also claiming he has ‘real quality‘, Rose finding a new club is definitely feasible in January.
Given Euro 2021 is right around the corner, he may have to do exactly that if Gareth Southgate is to consider him for a call up.
