Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting excited about their potential set of midfielders for next season after Metro linked them with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The former Newcastle man has struggled to hold down a first team place in PSG’s starting eleven and with France hosting the Euros in 2016, he is determined to make the national team.
Which is why the 29-year-old is considering a move back to the Premier League, where he has played the best football of his career.
He has already been rumoured to join his former boss Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace but punters are confident that Cabaye would favour a move to White Hart Lane if an offer was on the table.
Mauricio Pochettino will hope he can hijack the deal by tempting him with the fact they qualified for Europe and they are also looking to build on their fifth place finish from last season.
