Mauricio Pochettino is facing a race against time to make some much needed forward reinforcements this transfer window, and the Spurs fans sharing a few pints and a pack of peanuts here inside the Transfer Tavern can’t take all this excitement!
The Mirror are reporting that the White Hart Lane outfit are plotting a third bid for Saido Berahino, after their most recent offer, a whopping great £21 million was rejected by the Baggies’ hierarchy.
Much like fellow young England star and future prospect, John Stones, Saido Berahino has also handed in a transfer request at his club, however West Brom have rejected this.
The fact however the young striker is keen for a move away from his current club has made a few Spurs fans in here pretty cheery, and they will surely hope they can prize their man away to add to a strike force that has seen the departure of Soldado already this summer.
