Tottenham star Eric Dier has shared a shocking image of his return to Hotspur Way as Jose Mourinho’s side took part in step one of the Premier League’s plans to restart the season.
Dier posted a photo of himself in the familiar Lilywhites’ training kit – but with a surprise twist.
The midfielder can be seen sporting a weird haircut, in a similar vein to Brazil legend Ronaldo’s atrocious trim at the 2002 World Cup.

This big change has caught the attention of fans and players alike on social media. Former Spurs stars Mousa Dembele and Ryan Mason congratulated Dier on Instagram.
It is fair to say the 26-year-old has struggled for consistency in recent years. After finding himself out of favour with Mauricio Pochettino, the England international was initially dropped to the bench by the Argentine’s successor, Jose Mourinho.
However, he was surprisingly selected at centre-back in the 3-2 defeat to Wolves and racked up a fair few appearances after that until football was suspended in light of the pandemic.

Therefore, Spurs fans will be hoping Dier can quickly find his feet as it seems football will make a return behind closed doors in June.
