Tanguy Ndombele made his return from injury when he replaced Harry Winks in the 67th minute of Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, as per WhoScored.
This was his first game back after missing the clashes with Newcastle United and Arsenal due to a hamstring issue, as per Transfermarkt.
His absence likely will have been a source of frustration, as the 22-year-old scored in the season opener against Aston Villa, before making an assist in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City prior to missing the two following matches.
This meant that the club were fairly excited to see him back in action, while the supporters were as well:
How good was it to see this man back out there again?

The Frenchman definitely showed promising signs during the match, as he completed 2 dribbles and 82% of his attempted passes, while he was dispossessed just once.
There is certainly more to come from Ndombele as he continues to get back up to full speed, with some fans hoping to see him play in the Champions League game against Olympiacos on Wednesday.
A selection of Twitter reaction to having Ndombele back, including posts from enthused Spurs fans, can be seen below:

The highlight of my day. Granted we had the game wrapped up but my god is he going to be vital to us going forward from now on. Brilliant to see him back
