With their side welcoming table-topping Chelsea tonight, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are aiming to calm their nerves at a bottom of a beer glass right now.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are in decent form themselves and have a chance to blow the title race right open with a win over the Blues tonight, though that has proven difficult for anyone to do against Antonio Conte’s side lately.
You get the feeling two men will be crucial to Spurs’ chances later tonight, England internationals Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Two of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League, reports today from the Daily Mail claim those on Hotspur Way will do literally all they can to keep the pair.
Both Manchester United and Real Madrid are said to be eyeing both men, with Alli in particular recently touted as a £50m target for Los Blancos.
While they only recently penned a new deal in north London each, Spurs do have a history of selling their best players, including Dimitar Berbatov to United and both Luka Modric and Gareth Bale to the La Liga giants.
However, the report stresses top brass at the club are determined to keep a hold of Kane and Alli, who reportedly have no desire to leave just now, and will apparently not entertain any offers.
Will both Kane and Alli be at Spurs for the long run? Let us know below…
