“Exceptional” Tottenham star ‘likely’ to complete move to Saudi Pro League in coming days

Tottenham’s difficult start to the Premier League season could soon be followed by another major change to their squad.

Spurs remain without a league win after three matches, losing to Brentford and Newcastle before being held by Nottingham Forest.

That comes despite a huge summer investment, with Sandro Tonali, Bruno Fernandes, Mykhailo Mudryk and others arriving.

Now, one of Tottenham’s longest-serving players could be heading for the exit.

Richarlison Set For Saudi Pro League Move

Richarlison is reportedly ‘likely’ to leave Tottenham for the Saudi Pro League in the coming days, according to the Evening Standard.

The Brazilian – previously described as “exceptional” by former Spurs boss Thomas Frank – was left out of Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad after the club failed to find him a move before the domestic deadline.

Richarlison has made no secret of his desire to leave, while a proposed return to Everton failed to progress and interest from Turkey has also disappeared following the closure of their transfer window.

Saudi Arabia could therefore provide his next destination, with Al-Ittihad reportedly among the clubs that could make a move before the Saudi window closes.

Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in 2022 and has scored 32 goals in 134 appearances.
