The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern want the club to sign the “next Dele Alli” again.
Very few would have predicted quite how much of a success the signing of Dele Alli would prove to be when he joined from Milton Keynes.
But he has since established himself as a regular goal scorer from midfield and one of the top performers in the Premier League, as well as being a regular member of England’s starting XI.
The “next Dele Alli” could well be Ryan Sessegnon and Spurs are desperate to steal a march in the race for the Fulham youngster.
According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur will submit a £12m bid to land the talented teenager, who recently turned 17.
Sessegnon has enjoyed a phenomenal breakthrough season, scoring 7 goals from left back and becoming the first ever player born after 2000 to score in the Football League.
The England under-19 international is also the youngest ever Championship goal scorer and has netted a brace against Newcastle United.
Manchester City and Liverpool are among a number of other admirers so Tottenham have decided to move quickly and launch a £12m bid in an attempt to fend off the competition and sign the Championship starlet.
