Jack Grealish has sent an Instagram message to Tottenham’s Harry Kane following Spurs’ 2-0 win over Manchester City.

Spurs stunned City on Saturday with a 2-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – Heung-Min Son and Giovani Lo Celso hit the back of the net.

Kane was in top form in the match – he was included in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week – and he posted on Instagram to celebrate the performance. That led to Grealish responding:

Former Spurs target
It is nice to see some light-hearted banter between the two after their recent time spent on international duty together with England. It is interesting to note, though, that Grealish is a former target for Spurs, and he even admitted two years ago that he was disappointed not to have made a move to Spurs.

At the time, the bid for the Villa captain stood at £25m. However, he is currently valued at £40.5m (Transfermarkt) and has been the subject of interest from Manchester United and Manchester City – so that price tag will have gone up considerably. That only makes sense – he is a wonderful player who has been compared to Eden Hazard in the past.
If Daniel Levy were able to find the money from somewhere, he would be a fantastic capture for Jose Mourinho.
