Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are relieved after the Sunday Mirror revealed that their talisman Christian Eriksen will snub any sort of approach from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Danish midfielder is an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side as he has the quality to open up any defence in the Premier League.
Also in North London, Eriksen and the on-form Harry Kane have a great relationship on the pitch.
And if PSG came calling and poached Eriksen, it would be a real step back for the club as Pochettino is edging closer to forming a side that will convincingly challenge for the top four.
There were initial doubts when Eriksen first made his £11m move from Ajax to the Premier League as there were question marks over his physicality.
But he has proved the doubters wrong and is set to have a successful future in England.
