Tottenham team news: Alli a doubt for Pochettino as Spurs meet Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur will host Bournemouth on Boxing Day at Wembley as they look to keep pace with the leaders of the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino saw his side thump Everton 6-2 in their last match, recording their 23^rd win in their last 30 games in the top-flight.

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth could pose the north London outfit a threat and according to a match preview by Sky Sports, Spurs could be without a key man for the encounter.

Dele Alli had to come off at half-time in their rout of Everton on Sunday with a minor hamstring injury and is considered to be a doubt for the game against the Cherries.

With plenty of matches to be played in a short period of time, Pochettino may decide against risking the England international.

However, Alli’s injury will be of some concern for Pochettino as his side prepares for their encounter with Bournemouth.
