It seemed fairly inevitable that Dele Alli was going to be omitted from Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the November international break.
#thfc midfielder Dele Alli has not been included in the latest @England squad.

The Tottenham midfielder was left off the Three Lions squad list for their upcoming fixtures against Montenegro and Kosovo this month (per the FA’s official website), with England on the verge of qualifying for Euro 2020 after claiming a 6-0 win against Bulgaria in the last slate of international games (per BBC Sport).
Yet despite being left out of the England squad, Tottenham fans on social media believe that this could be the best thing that could happen to Alli after a frustrating start to the season for the Spurs midfielder, with stats from Transfermarkt showing that the 23-year-old has only managed two goals in all competitions this campaign.
Here’s what some Tottenham fans had to say about Alli’s international snub on Twitter, with a few supporters convinced this setback will encourage the former MK Dons ace to regain his form…
Hopefully it makes him hungrier
