Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to the latest big transfer rumour, with one supporter even suggesting it could spell the end for Christian Eriksen in north London.
According to 90min, Jose Mourinho has asked super-agent Jorge Mendes to keep him in the loop over the futures of Ruben Dias and Bruno Fernandes.
Mourinho is said to be plotting some January business for Spurs, with Fernandes likely seen as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen of course admitted his desire to seek a new challenge during the summer, and his performances so far this season have been underwhelming to say the least.
90min’s report notes that both Dias and Fernandes are linked with a host of Premier League clubs, and that Mourinho is keen to use his connections to tilt the scales in Tottenham’s favour – both players are represented by Mendes, as is Mourinho.
Dias reportedly has a buyout clause of €66m (£56.5m), while recent reports have claimed Fernandes has a price tag of €70m (£60m), but he could soon be set to pen a new deal with a much bigger buyout clause.
A combined £116.5m swoop in Janaury would certainly raise a few eyebrows, and loads of fans have been revealing their excitement…
the arrival of Bruno Fernandes would spell the end for Eriksen at Spurs
