According to Eurosport, Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore is running out of options for a summer move away from Molineux so it 'may come down' to Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United.

The Lowdown: Spurs in Traore hunt...

Separate sources indicate that the 25-year-old is a target for Spurs and managing director Fabio Paratici as they enter the last hurdle of this summer's transfer window.

Diario AS believe that head coach Nuno Espirito Santo especially wants to reunite with his former player in north London, meanwhile Sky Sports back there is certainly interest in Traore.

Now, Eurosport reporter Dean Jones believes Spurs may just be one of the only viable destinations for him.

The Latest: Spurs or Leeds touted as favourites...

Indeed, it is claimed that Traore may have no choice but to join Spurs or Leeds this summer if Traore is looking to seal a summer move away.

It may come down to one of the two clubs as they are touted as favourites and still in contention, with Liverpool having financial reservations and Crystal Palace no longer interested.

Rated at around £40 million according to this report, Wolves are apparently open to selling this summer if they receive a suitable offer around that margin.

The Verdict: Do it Paratici?

Lauded as 'undefendable' by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp at the back end of last season (Liverpool Echo), Spurs boss Nuno has also lavished his former man with praise - calling Traore 'amazing' and 'unique' (The Athletic).

Traore's price tag has also significantly dropped when compared to last year, with reports around that time indicating he cost as much as €100 million (£85.3m).

Compared to the Spaniard, no player across England's top flight completed more successful dribbles per 90 over 2020/2021 (4.1) - highlighting his real attacking threat.

At just £40m, we believe he could be a real snip for Spurs.
