Tottenham Hotspur: Daniel Levy eyeing Juventus defender Radu Dragusin

Writing on Twitter, Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Juventus defender Radu Dragusin alongside Newcastle United – with the player apparently receiving ‘expressions of interest‘ from the Lilywhites.
Dragusin, standing at a lofty 6 foot 3, seems to be showing plenty of promise in Turin despite only being given the nod by Andrea Pirlo on rare occasions this season, and it appears he has now emerged on the radars of both Daniel Levy and Mike Ashley.
Dragusin breakdown
The 18-year-old has played just 22 minutes of football in both Serie A and the Champions League combined (WhoScored), but Juve’s coach hints he has plenty of potential.
Speaking to the press recently (via Football Italia), Pirlo branded Dragusin as ‘very strong‘ after he took part in their European encounter against Dynamo Kiev.
The colossal teenager, however, must ‘develop’ on a technical level – but Pirlo believes he can only grow whilst training with ‘great champions‘.
Now, Serie A reporter Longari has claimed on social media that Spurs and Levy are eyeing him and expressing real interest – with Dragusin’s short bursts of action in the first team and junior appearances for the Bianconeri seemingly being enough to entice Lilywhites scouts.
Transfer Tavern take
It remains to be seen whether this turns into more concrete talks, but a new defensive target now appears to be on the radar after Spurs were heavily linked with Milan Skriniar (Fabrizio Romano via talkSPORT).
