Coutinho's tenure at the Camp Nou has been marred by a lack of consistent starts with the 29-year-old even going out on loan to Bayern Munich for the 2019/2020 season.

Now, it appears Spurs could be interesting in making a move for the former Premier League superstar, with El Nacional claiming they are interested in signing him on loan in January.

If possible, Barca would also like to include an obligation to buy in any deal, with many Lilywhites supporters now gushing over this news on social media.

One fan even called Coutinho a would-be 'perfect signing' for Nuno Espirito Santo.
