Tottenham Hotspur: Fans gush over Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s view on his future

Tottenham target Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has dropped a major hint about his future at Southampton, according to SPORT1 via the Daily Echo.
Hojbjerg has revealed he is looking for a move away from the Saints in the summer, as his dream is to win the Premier League and play in the Champions League.
Speaking to the German outlet, as transcribed by @thespursweb, the Danish international said “I know what I want, the club knows it too. I want to play at an even higher level than I am currently.”
He added “I’m not saying goodbye and I’m focused on my club, but my goal is very clear: I want to win the Premier League & the Champions League.”
After arriving at St Mary’s Stadium from Bayern Munich for £13.7m in 2016, the 24-year-old has played in 28 games for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men this season, creating 1 assist, making 2.4 tackles per game, averaging 1.5 interceptions, and completing 1.7 clearances (WhoScored).
Earlier this year, Sky Sports reported Spurs were lining up a bid for the Dane in the upcoming transfer window, as Jose Mourinho has identified the midfielder as a top priority.
Who should Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg replace in the Tottenham Hotspur squad?
Harry Winks

Eric Dier

Whether or not Daniel Levy splashes the cash remains to be seen, but there is no doubt Hojbjerg’s comments will fill the board with confidence.
Naturally, lots of Spurs fans gushed over his “incredible” comments on social media, with one supporter suggesting he “ticks every box.”

He sort of ticks every box for us for what we need. Good Age. Cheaper than what he would be. Knows the league. Good English.
