As per a report by SportMediaSet, via Sport Witness, an update has come to light on Tottenham Hotspur's hunt for Sweden international Dejan Kulusevski.

The Lowdown: Spurs eye Kulusevski move...

The Juventus winger, who is being heavily linked with a move away from Turin, is reportedly at the centre of interest from Tottenham and manager Antonio Conte.

It is believed that both Conte and managing director Fabio Paratici are admirers of Kulusevski with the Italian duo sharing the same 'esteem' for his talent whilst believing he is a 'gem' (TUTTOmercatoWEB).

The 21-year-old has barely started this season under Massimiliano Allegri, making the vast majority of his appearances off the bench (WhoScored), leading to reports he could make a Juventus exit.

The Latest: Spurs in contact...

As per SMS, via Sport Witness, Spurs have made contact with Kulusevski's representative, Alessandro Lucci, as the Lilywhites seek a loan deal - with Juve not completely ruling it out but preferring a permanent transfer.

They rate the attacker at around €35 million (£29.9m) but as Tottenham and north London rivals Arsenal seek a January loan, they are open to that possibility.

As Spurs talk to the player's agent and his club, it appears Paratici is aiming to land him on a temporary transfer.

The Verdict: Ideal...

If Tottenham can secure him on a temporary transfer, the move would be a low risk, low fee one and could hand Conte a versatile attacking option.

Ex-Sweden striker Marcus Allback hailed Kulusevski as 'explosive' and he isn't the starlet's only admirer - with Portuguese footballing veteran Bruno Alves and ex-Parma teammate Bruno Alves calling him 'incredible'.

Tottenham recently announced an £80.2 million pre-tax loss, taking their overall club debt to £706m (The Guardian), leaving little wonder Paratici is scouring for the cheapest deals possible.

If the Lilywhites can agree a loan deal, Conte would be set for a boost at little cost to the club.
