Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have mixed feelings after the Daily Star reported that Inter Milan were preparing a bid to land pacey winger Aaron Lennon.

The 27-year-old is Tottenham’s longest serving player and he has emerged as a target for new Inter boss Roberto Mancini.

Punters are not shocked to see clubs showing an interest in him considering Mauricio Pochettino has hardly played him, after only handing him three Premier League games this season.

But it is not a one horse race for the Italian side, with Hull and QPR also interested in signing the former Leeds United winger.

Spurs are expected to be more interested in selling him to Inter Milan rather loaning him out to another English side, and they want at least £7m as well as Fredy Guarin in exchange.

Mancini is supposedly open to swapping the Columbian right winger and this shows how much he admires the Spurs player, who is in his tenth season at White Hart Lane.
