Arsenal patrons in the Transfer Tavern are constantly fretting over the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
The attacking duo are the stand-out talents at the Emirates Stadium but have struggled to deliver at times this season – whilst their attitudes have often been questioned by our Gunners punters – and are yet to extend their contracts beyond the end of next season.
Should the situation continue into the summer, the north London club will likely be forced to sell – or else face the risk of losing two of the biggest names in the Premier League on free transfers in summer 2018.
And to make matters worse for the Transfer Tavern’s Arsenal drinkers, Mirror Football claim the Emirates outfit are growing ‘increasingly worried’ Sanchez and Ozil are ready to leave the club, following a humiliating defeat to Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League.
It’s further added that London rivals Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in signing the Chile international, who is Arsenal’s top scorer across all competitions this season with 20 goals.
However, Juventus and PSG, Italian and French champions respectively, are also keen, whilst Bayern Munich appear to be eyeing German international Ozil.
