This summer has been brilliant for a lot of Liverpool fans. They’ve seen their club finally sign a marquee goalkeeper in Alisson Becker whilst they’ve also added Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri to the squad. However, the fans are even more delighted as Trent Alexander-Arnold will be joining up with the squad for their France training camp.

The upcoming season is one that has a lot of promise for Liverpool. The club are in the best position they’ve been in for a long time in regards to winning the Premier League. However, that’s only on paper and we’re yet to see how Jurgen Klopp will line up his Reds with the new inclusions, especially seeing as he’s also got the likes of Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge who will be pushing to get back into the first team this season.
One an who will definitely be in and around the starting eleven is Alexander-Arnold. The teenage sensation was superb in the club’s Champions League campaign last season, shutting off Leroy Sane over 180 minutes against Manchester City and looking competent in the final against Real Madrid. However, this is a new year and he’ll be keen to get it underway and get some silverware with his club side after a strong England campaign at the World Cup ended in semi-final disappointment.

Just from these tweets it’s clear that the Kopites have missed Alexander-Arnold and will be keen for Klopp to put him back in the first-team after a long summer.
