Wolverhampton Wanderers have shocked everyone in the current campaign as they continue to pull off huge results against some of England’s biggest clubs. Manchester United were the Midlands club’s latest victim as they failed to tame the Wolves at Molineux recently.
Of course, one thing that has helped the Midlands club develop has been the money that’s constantly being pumped into the club by Fosun International, with there rarely being a dull transfer window for supporters.
The Mirror reported last month that Wolves are interested in signing Benfica’s Joao Felix, who is valued at £31.5 million (by Transfermarkt). But, Wolves have been blessed with a talented youngster of their own in the form of Morgan Gibbs-White who has impressed since making the step up to the first-team ranks.
So, let’s compared the two players…
MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE
Morgan Gibbs-White is arguably one of the hottest prospects in English football as he’s excelled in the Premier League this season, with his substitute appearances often tipping the game in Wolves’ favour and he very nearly found the back of the net against Arsenal in the dying embers at the Emirates.
Nuno Espirito Santo has brought the Englishman on leaps and bounds over the past season or so and fans are loving what they’re seeing from the youngster, so he has a very bright future ahead of him.

JOAO FELIX
Joao Felix has made a name for himself at Portuguese giants Benfica in the current campaign, having produced an incredible 12 goals and six assists in all competitions.
He’s arguably one of the brightest talents in world football and he could definitely thrive under the guidance of Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux, but he would come at a hefty price.

TT VERDICT:
When comparing these two, it’s safe to say that Felix has enjoyed more success in the current campaign in terms of providing contributions but Gibbs-White has been equally as impressive during his appearances on the field.
The Englishman has already shown that he has what it takes to ensure consistency in the Premier League and he has all the ingredients to kick on and become a future star. So, Fosun should save their millions rather than splashing out on Felix as Gibbs-White has done more than enough to deserve a chance and they operate in similar positions.
