Gareth Bale is hotly tipped (according to Guillem Balague via talkSPORT) to return to the Premier League this summer after being the victim of major criticism from Real Madrid’s difficult to please fans, and Manchester United have been one of the main candidates for his signature over the years (as per the Times in the summer). So what does this mean for their current stars?
Gareth Bale is one of the most talented players to have graced the game in recent years. His talents are there for all to see, and see we have.
There is no doubt that the Welsh star will be the subject of intense speculation this summer after recent groans from the Real Madrid camp, and with Zinedine Zidane returning to management presumably with a ‘Galactico’ sized pot of money, there is every chance he could be moved on to make way for fresh talent.
Antony Martial is one of many Manchester United players who have been boosted following the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December, but there is no doubt he will also be one of those who may feel most aggrieved by any potential signing of Gareth Bale.
The two players could well be fighting for a spot in the team next term – but who will come out on top?

Anthony Martial absolutely oozes class at times, then can be painfully average at others. It is a dynamic Manchester United fans have become accustomed to – and though it might be painful at times, it is always worth it in the end.
Indeed, there appears to be a real sense of collective comradery at Old Trafford, between the young players, that has really added something extra to the Frenchman’s game – a change we are sure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has actively encouraged, building from his own experience with the iconic Class of ’92.
Whether it is as a striker or a winger, Martial provides moments of skilful brilliance, ridiculing defenders with a rapid turn of pace and quick feet, with the added bonus of unrivalled finesse.
Quality player, and a real showman.

Not much needs to be said about Gareth Bale.
Who else has the audacity to score an overhead kick in the Champions League final?
This is a man who has built upon pure natural athleticism to become of the most powerful and technically gifted footballers in the modern game.
The 102 goals he has scored in 224 appearances (as per Transfermarkt) only tells half the story.
Bale is immeasurably quick and uses his physical superiority to leave players slumped in his wake., whilst his extensive skillset and technical ability compliments his game in a similar way to a younger more dynamic Cristiano Ronaldo.
Underappreciated talent amongst the spoilt Madrid fans.

TT Verdict:
Anthony Martial may have the years on Bale but there is literally no comparison when it comes to effectiveness, and for that reason Gareth Bale gets the nod.
Man United fans surely must be urging Ed Woodward to bring him to Old Trafford.
The former world’s most expensive player still has so much more left in the tank, and providing he stays fit, which has been a point of concern these past few years, he could still make a huge impact at a Premier League side willing to pay his mammoth asking price.
