There are very few managers who have taken to the Scottish Premier League like Neil Lennon. The now-Celtic manager is in his second spell at Parkhead and had a tidy job at Hibernian in between, where he turned Easter Road from a Championship Ground to a Premiership Ground in his two and a half seasons at the club.
It was the 8th June when the jubilant Hibs fans, still ecstatic from their famous 3-2 win the Scottish Cup final against Rangers, were celebrating the announcement of Neil Lennon as their new gaffer. Now 47, the appointment of Lennon was a real boost for the then-Scottish Championship club and it didn’t take him long to get the side playing his style of play and they were quickly promoted.
After that promotion, the 2017/18 season was one that the fans simply couldn’t wait for. It was the clubs first season back in the top flight of Scottish football since their relegation in 2014, and it was worth the wait. A fourth-placed finish had the fans believing Lennon was the man to take them forward, and until his contract was terminated by mutual consent just a matter of weeks ago they all had faith in the gaffer.

Easter Road was bouncing when the news broke of Lennon’s appointment and they all have a lot to thank the now-Celtic man to thank for the job he did at the club.
