[video] AVB On Norwich ‘A Game We Didn’t Deserve To Lose’

The Spurs boss compared the Norwich performance remarkably favourably. Saying it was on a par with some of his sides best showings yet over an entire 90 minutes this season. It was a game he didn’t believe Spurs deserved to lose.

There has to be a question mark though if not over his starting lineup (after all Spurs are ravaged by injury at this moment in time) thencertainly his use of substitutions. Was bringing on Jan Vertonghen the right answer, or was Jermain Defoe brought on too late?

Hindsight is of course a wonderful thing.

Andre Villas-Boas will be looking to ‘open for business as usual’ against visitors Wigan this weekend. After his depleted side fell foul of a long standing Spurs complaint of failing to play right until the very final whistle. Norwich deserved their win and the Capital One Cup is crossed off the list.
