Sir Alex Ferguson travels to Stamford Bridge minus Shinji Kagawa.
“Shinji is going to be out for three to four weeks,” Ferguson said. “Playing on with the injury didn’t help the situation for him. He did well to play on. It’s a knee injury, similar to the one Ashley Young had. He’ll be out for three to four weeks, which is disappointing for him.”
Oscar, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata were all singled out in Fergie’s press conference as being a major threat to United but the Manchester United boss is hoping to find a way to deal with them on Sunday.
“Chelsea always had that alternative route of playing with Didier Drogba up front, they could play it long or they could play it through midfield. Now it’s straightforward. It’s through midfield all the time.
“But it’s not an easy system to deal with. Oscar and Hazard are similar type players. And with Mata as well they all play in behind the main striker.
“We just have to find a way of dealing with it.”
