The West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern are berating their team’s display in the FA Cup today. A truly turgid performance from a much changed West Ham team could not break down Shrewsbury Town and they were perhaps lucky to get away with the game ending 0-0.
Other than a few of the youngsters, such as Declan Rice and Josh Cullen, the experienced West Ham players were poor and could not create any chances whatsoever. Shrewsbury were the better side but could only create two or three meaningful opportunities themselves in a poor game of football.
West Ham fans flocked to Twitter after the game to share their opinions on the match. They were understandably livid with the performance, calling out a number of experienced players for their poor showings while also taking the time to praise the younger players.

Cullen, Burke and Rice beat players by a long way. Kouyate and Obiang are both so poor I really don’t want either of them playing for us again, they can’t pass, tackle or track back and they’ve cost us all season.
