The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Indeed, the Bhoys in our bar were absolutely delighted to see their side progress into the League Cup final with a win over Hibs at Hampden Park on Saturday.
As if that wasn’t good enough, our punters clad in green and white here were glued to Tavern TV yesterday, watching bitter rivals Rangers lose to Motherwell. That sets up a tie in the final with the Well, much to the delight of the Hoops propping up our bar.
Louis Moult bagged a brace against the Gers, having previously been linked with a move to Ibrox, including a stunning second at Scotland’s national stadium.
Any player who manages to knock Rangers out of anything is going to be popular amongst our Celtic fans, who have been taking to Twitter to urge the club to land the 25-year-old marksman in the January transfer window.
