The Arsenal supporters were busy drowning their sorrows here in the Transfer Tavern this past week as Bayern Munich brushed them aside 5-1 in their Champions League round of 16 match.

It made for a miserable night in the Tavern and several Gunners had to be thrown out by our door staff after things got a little bit heated among some disgruntled supporters.

On Monday evening the Gunners face a must win game against non-league Sutton United and with Arsene Wenger already hanging to his job by a thread, he can ill-afford any more disappointing results.

The young Arsenal winger has featured heavily in the cup competitions this year and he could get the nod once again against Sutton United.

Boasting speed in abundance the young professional will be a nightmare for the non-league defenders and he could be a real danger for Sutton United.

One Arsenal fan is tucking into an all-day breakfast here in the Tavern and he thinks that the 19-year-old is a shining star for the future, stating that he should be given a chance in the cup match.

The Nigerian forward was abysmal during Wednesday night’s Champions League fiasco and Arsene Wenger would be wise to let the youngster build up some confidence here.

The forward could get the nod to play in attack during the Gunners’ FA Cup encounter with Sutton United and a couple of goals would do him the world of good.

One Arsenal fan is sat munching his way through a Sunday lunch here in the Tavern and he thinks that Iwobi is talented, although he concedes that he must continue to learn to avoid falling onto the Arsenal scrapheap.
