Wenger confirms injury blow as Arsenal prepare to reshuffle

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t really had all that much to moan about this season, a rather surprising turn of events for even the most ardent of Gunners.

Other than the loss to Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign, Arsene Wenger’s side have been in tip-top shape this term and talk of a potential title tilt is rife amongst the Tavern’s north London locals.

Though they’ve been here before, and it tends to be the hope that kills the Gunners, Le Prof at least looks to have crafted one of his most solid sides in recent memory.

Still, they could receive their first major test in the coming weeks following confirmation (sourced from Sky Sports) from the Frenchman that vital defender Hector Bellerin would be out for around a month.

Ever since replacing Mathieu Debuchy as the club’s first-choice right-back around 18 months ago, the Spaniard has developed into one of the most exciting full-backs plying his trade on the continent.

Thought to have recently agreed a new deal at the Emirates, the news will come as a major blow to all those connected with Arsenal, especially considering the upcoming clash with Manchester United.

Carl Jenkinson is the only other natural right-back in the squad and Bellerin’s ailment is a damaging one to the club.

How much will Arsenal miss Bellerin? Let us know below…
