The Lazio man was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, although any potential move was soon scuppered once Jose Mourinho took the Red Devils vacancy.

The Brazilian would be a quality addition to the Arsenal midfield and his array of passing would be a real asset to Wenger’s squad.

One Arsenal fan is tentatively playing a game of dominos with a pint of real ale by his side and he says that Anderson would be a class signing for the club, stating that he would fit into the Arsenal team with aplomb.
