The Football Transfer Tavern has been keeping tabs on 1899 Hoffenheim and the brilliant season that they have been having.
Nobody expected them to do anywhere near as well as they have done this campaign under Julian Nagelsmann, but they currently sit third in the Bundesliga.
There have been some stars coming to the fore and the German outfit could have trouble keeping hold of them.
One team that could look to get one of their stars are Arsenal, who have had a good start to the season, but will surely have to improve their squad if they are to challenge for the title.
The landlord has come up with TWO Hoffenheim players that he thinks Arsene Wenger should be looking to sign in January.
Do you agree with these picks and who do you think Arsenal should sign? Let us know
Sandro Wagner

Sandro Wagner is approaching his prime and could be a great signing for Arsenal.
There has been talk in the Tavern suggesting that Olivier Giroud should move away from the Emirates Stadium and the 6 foot 4 German could be a perfect replacement for him.
Wenger could be tempted to deploy Alexis Sanchez as his main striker, so he likely wouldn’t want to spend to much on a new forward while still bringing in a player who scored goals.
Wagner has scored four goals in seven league games this season, so could fit the bill perfectly.
Niklas Süle

Arsenal have finally found a partner for Laurent Koscielny in Shkodran Mustafi. It would be easy to be content with that pairing, with Per Mertesacker and Rob Holding as cover.
However, Niklas Süle is emerging as a very promising centre-back and so Arsene Wenger should be keeping tabs on his progress and maybe making a move for him before another big team does.
At 21, Süle has already played for Germany and become a Hoffenheim regular playing over 80 league games for the club.
This move could push Mertesacker out of the side, but would ensure that there is constant competition at the back.
