The Arsenal fans are very happy with how things are going at the moment here in the Transfer Tavern.

They now sit second in the Premier League table with only goal difference keeping them behind early pace-setters Manchester City, and you have to credit the Gunners for the way they’ve reeled them in after a pretty steady start to the season at most.

Nevertheless, they’re doing the business now with a solid 3-2 win in their pockets over Swansea last weekend and an easy 6-0 win over Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger looks to have assembled his strongest squad in recent memory with good options in most positions but our landlord reckons they could do with even more.

The way the Gunners are going at the moment they’ll feel they can do well in any competition they are in but that naturally will take its toll on the squad, and that’s why our landlord reckons they should go for these TWO central midfielders…

Ignacio Camacho

Igancio Camacho likes to mix it in the midfield but he can play too.

He likes to run with the ball from deep and that would offer something different to Arsenal’s central areas.

They don’t really have a player like that who can drive the team up the pitch and the Malaga man would certainly fit the bill.

He’s just about to enter his prime, too, and so would be a good acquisition.

Milan Badelj

Badelj is one of the many talented midfielders that currently play for the Croatia national team.

He prefers to play as a more defensive midfielder but he can start the play off too and that makes him a decent commodity to have.

With the likes of Santi Cazorla in that position, Badelj would have to show all he’s got to get in the side but to have a squad with two players like the Spaniard would be a very good thing indeed for Arsenal.
