West Brom fans have been very buoyant in recent weeks in their section of the Transfer Tavern.

The Baggies’ fans have especially been singing the praises of boss, Tony Pulis with the Welshman inspiring his team to eighth place in the Premier League with just eleven games to be played in this campaign.

Our landlord believes that a strong foundation has been laid in the Black Country and a strong summer transfer window could really see the Baggies challenge the top six for next season.

And as Pulis continues to be backed by Chinese business man, Guochuan Lai, in the transfer market, it is now up to West Brom to get the right player in and to sign quality not quantity with their new found riches.

So, with all the debate flying around the Transfer Tavern about what good Lai will do for the club, the attention has turned to who the Baggies’ fans would like to come through the door at the Hawthorns.

Indeed, our landlord certainly has weighed in with what he thinks the Midlands club needs in order to progress as a football club and he has drawn up two players he feels West Brom simply must sign in order to build next season…

Lukasz Teodorczyk

The Polish striker has impressed whilst on loan at Anderlecht from his parent club, Dynamo Kiev, by netting 19 league goals in 27 appearances in the Belgium first division.

As well as that he’s scored a further seven goals from nine appearances in European football and so we may well see West Brom show interest in Teodorczyk.

Salomon Rondon is going through a barren spell and there is a real need to take the pressure of the Venezuelan next season as he currently appears to be the Baggies’ only goal threat.

Sead Kolasinac

The Schalke left back has failed to agree a new deal with his club and with his contract expiring in the summer, our landlord believes the Baggies would be wise to swoop for Kolasinac given that they do not currently play an out and out left back in that position.

Whilst there were rumours that the league leaders, Chelsea, tried to sign the Bosnian on the final day of the January transfer window – their interest is likely to have cooled down, meaning West Brom can steal in. This could well be another one of Tony Pulis’ shrewd moves in the transfer market.
