West Bromwich Albion may be about to keep one of their wanted men beyond the transfer window deadline.
Darren Moore will be delighted to have been able to keep the England international at The Hawthorns as he sees him vital to his plans of getting the club back to the Premier League.
Rodriguez, who is thought to be keen on leaving the club, has played a role in both of West Brom’s opening games and now it looks as though he could be there until January, at the very least should another bid not come in.
The Verdict:

West Brom will be pleased to have fended the interest off from Burnley for Rodriguez.
The club were determined to keep hold of their best players for their Championship season, and barring any late bids, it appears that he will be remaining at The Hawthorns.
It does remain to be seen if any late bids are made, especially with the striker thought to be unhappy at the Baggies and wanting a quick return to the top-flight.
