A lot of West Bromwich Albion fans are replying to a tweet posted by the club and sharing their love for the Baggies after they asked, “What makes YOU proud to be a Baggie?”
With football currently postponed globally due to recent events, there hasn’t been a lot for fans to get excited about, but a simple tweet by the club has got some of their fanbase talking and remembering why they are in love with their team.
The side are having a great campaign as they currently are in an automatic promotion spot as they sit second in the Championship, and are six points clear of third with nine games to go, via BBC Sport.
Many replied to the tweet, calling the club a ‘family’ whilst others are ‘proud’ of the togetherness that West Brom brings throughout from fans to players to the owner.
In particular one pointed out how diverse the club is and the equality it promotes to make everyone feel welcome.
It is good to remember why football brings such joy to people’s lives and it is easy to forget that joy isn’t just created from moments on the pitch, but also by the ones that the club makes off the pitch too.
