A lot of the West Ham fanbase are highlighting how good Declan Rice is after a fan posted pictures of his statistics so far this season.
The tweet showed stats made by Sky Sports, and ranks the midfielder as second when it comes to long pass success, only behind Manchester City’s Rodri, whilst he is also second out of the defensive midfielders in England’s top flight when it comes to recoveries, tackles, interceptions and dribbles.
After making his debut for the Hammers only three years ago, the 21 year-old England international, per Transfermarkt, has had a remarkable rise, and is now a crucial part of the side.

These performances have not gone unnoticed as not only is he a crucial member in Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad but London rivals Chelsea have been heavily linked with making a move for the player in the summer, via The Express.
The stats highlight how good he has been this campaign, and it makes you wonder where the Irons would be in the Premier League without him, as they currently sit 16th, via BBC Sport.
Sky Sports also named the midfielder as the East London side’s Most Valuable Player, and if the club want to avpid battling relegation next year, they need to do everything they can to keep hold of him.
