West Ham had given fans a lot to smile about this season. From transfers for players like Felipe Anderson to brilliant results under Manuel Pellegrini, it’s been a campaign of progression and growth for the Hammers.
However, that doesn’t mean that things at the club are perfect. They lost at the weekend to Cardiff City in what was one of their worst games of the season, and that just shows how far the club have still go to do in pursuit of Premier League glory.
There’s been a lot of causes for frustration at West Ham this term, and most of them have come on the field, just as was the case on Saturday, but the Hammers have also given reason for fans to be angry off the field this week.

The news has angered plenty of supporters because there’s a fee increase involved, which based on their performances this season, fans don’t seem to think is justified. They also have other concerns, like the fact that the deadline for renewal is before the summer transfer window – meaning that the fans will get no promise of fresh talent until after the fact.
