Loads of West Ham United supporters have been left stunned by the performance of their former player Jonathan Calleri in the Europa League last night.
The Argentinian striker now plays for La Liga outfit Espanyol and played 90 minutes for them in their game against Wolves on Thursday.
He certainly grabbed the headlines with his display too, netting a hat-trick against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men to help the Spanish side to a 3-2 victory (Transfermarkt), although it wasn’t enough to see them progress into the next round following Wolves’ 4-0 first leg win at Molineux last week (BBC Sport).

Calleri represented the Hammers in the 2016/17 season, but failed to make an impact in east London. Indeed he played just 19 times in all competitions and in that time he managed to score just a single goal (Transfermarkt).
It is perhaps because of his poor spell at West Ham that many of their supporters couldn’t believe what they were seeing when the 26-year-old fired three goals past Wolves. Here is how some reacted on Twitter…
